Busy Busy....

Loads going on here but not a lot I can shout about a the moment, but I'm busy working on a number of mag projects simultaneously - Oh boy, it feels good to be busy again! So without further adieu I'll leave it brief with my Saturday Sketch offering. I really loved using this sketch and I couldn't resist using Daisy again - she's such a darling!

Big Thank You's again for Teri who left me this fab award on her blog this week

I promise I will pass it on - probably at the weekend with my Tag for this week's Tag, You're It! challenge!

Thanks for passing by! :o) xx

Tag, You're It and Friday Sketchers

It's Mothering Sunday tomorrow so "Happy Mother's Day" to all you Mum's out there - whether you're Mum to little people, big people or furry friends I hope you have a lovely day! I used this week's Friday Sketch to make a card for MIL. Sadly my own Mum hasn't been with us for some years now and I always wish I'd been a cardmaker when she was because she loved home-made treats.

And over at Tag, You're It! this weekend we've all been cooking up a treat with Sarah's recipe - Easy as 1-2-3, just add 1Ribbon, 2 buttons and 3 brads or eyelets to your tag and you fit the theme!!!

BIG thanks this week go to lovely Teri who very, very kindly sent me this image of Daisy (along with many more!!). It's an absolutely delightful image to colour and I really enjoyed playing with it. And Teri, if you're passing by, you will be pleased to learn that my own copy of the stamp finally came this week! YAY!!

Have a great weekend all and I hope the sun is shining where you are! :o) xx

Sketch Saturday - 42

Lord, it doesn't feel like 7 days since the last one, but HURRAH! Saturday is here again! I got a brochure dropped through my door yesterday from Webbs of Wychbold garden centre and I knew I shouldn't have read it yet - I've got the urge to get out into my garden now and get the patio ready for eating al fresco! And this year I am definitely going to grow my own veggies. It won't be lots because my garden isn't that huge, but I have resolved to prepare a small plot where we can grow our own - even if it's just in pots and bags. Watch this space.........!!! LOL!
Anyway, here is my offering for this week's Sketch Saturday. I am just loving this stamp, it is such a delight to colour. Thanks for stopping by here, and I hope you're having a great weekend! :o) xx

Saturday Sketch & Dies to Die For

I've taken advantage of this weeks Saturday Sketch by using it as my submission for the Dies to Die For DT call. I've had a busy ol' time since returning to work in September with a couple of personal heartbreaking moments thrown in along the way, but I feel ready and energised again now to start afresh so I have decided that the time is perfect for me to look to joining a new team, so if you're a new challenge blog looking for members, maybe you would bear me in mind! :o) Or if you're someone who has an idea or two about starting one up, I'd love to chat with you about it?

Thanks for popping by, and Thanks especially if you're kind enough to leave me a comment! xx

Spring is in the air

I'm feeling very Spring'y this morning. The sun is shining, it's warm outside and there's a smell in the air that says Spring is on it's way - DYKWIM? And I'm feeling very happy because I invested in a bird feeding station a couple of weeks ago and have hung lots of different bird foods from it. For about 2 weeks I don't think we had a single visitor and I was feeling quite deflated. However, I noticed that the food levels are dropping so we must be getting some of our feathered friends dropping by during the day. Then this morning I got up at about 6am and sat watching as one beautiful bird after another came by to feed from my station and I was delighted to see a bullfinch on there - we used to get a lot of them round here till they built the road next to ours, and then they just seemed to disappear. But he was definitely back this morning! YAY!
Enough! I ramble too much. Here is my offering for this weeks Friday Sketchers. Thanks for popping by - I'm off to see what the Saturday Sketch is now!!
